STEP INTO YOUR DIVINE LIGHT WITHIN…YOUR HIGHEST SELF

At the core of our being lives a Divine light where we are not only whole but incredibly powerful. This spark is our inner light, our spirit or soul that calls us to live an extraordinary life. This eternal aliveness is always looking for a way to express itself when we are awake enough to listen. It was the summer of 2006 when I was driving to the local business centre, when that voice from spirit come in, ushering me to pull the car over. Once at the side of the road, I took a deep breath in and sat quietly to listen. You see, I just quit my career job of 20 years as a Child & Youth Counselor to embrace my “Calling”…to share my gifts, my personal healing journey, lessons learned, my spiritual awakening and to teach. Now all I had to do was think of a clever name for my new business. I have learned to have a deep respect when that familiar Divine voice commands my attention. Grabbing my pen, I scribbled the words Divine Light Within on a grocery receipt stuffed in my gear shift. My heart pounded with anxiety as I gazed at the words on the paper. How could I possibly use the word divine in my business name! After all, the word divine is linked to religion and God. What would people think of me? Maybe they would see me as a bible thumper yelling in the streets “you shall be healed…foul spirits come out!” Well that wasn’t me, and how could Annie, who is the voice of my Guardian Angel even suggest such an idea! She sent me a wave of calm and asked me to trust in my journey. I registered the business name that day. This sent me on a mission to define the word “divine” which also means angelic, celestial, eternal, spiritual, heavenly, God-like, loving, perfect and sacred. It also sent me in deep to define my relationship to my God-self…my Highest Self….and to teach about this big part of my awakening and my spirited journey. Thirteen years later, I am continuing to evolve and teach many to step out of the confines of the ego and into the limitless expression of the Highest Self. I am astonished by the creativity and psychic mediumship that flows from inside of me and I am grateful for my well-being and success that is due to being in total resonance with my Divine Light Within. I am linked with all that is possible and know that we are here for the evolution of our souls. I know that there are expanded realities out there that I wasn’t linking to in my past because I was stuck in the “muck” of my doing-ness. We all get caught up and lose energy to the chaos of what’s happening with our lives, families, friends, work, community, government and the world. I know that when I found my personal truth which lives in my “Being-ness”. I dramatically altered my life. My “being” and present self allowed me to be completely moved and re-configured by the energy that exists inside of me! In allowing my inner world to open up and making a commitment to nurturing an alliance with my highest self, I live an empowered life.
