As a Psychic Medium, Psychospiritual Mentor and Professional Musician/Composer I believe that there is a sacred part of yourself that is completely whole and unbroken. Embracing your creative passions is essential to living in your brightest, shiniest light. Our recording studio beckons and our album of songs tugs at me like an entity calling me out to play. My husband Daryl and I continue to dig into these musical pieces with a fierce loyalty as the songs insist on working their way through us. Some flow out effortlessly, like a river in spring time while others need to be chiseled and re-shaped, picked at like a wad of sticky gum in your hair. Some songs feel hit-worthy while others with all their meandering twists make us wonder if we were slipped the brown acid! It is like standing naked on the stage when you risk your most intimate creations. It is like walking into a job interview while you are flying low, like doing a speaking engagement in front of hundreds of people with a static charged sock stuck to the back of your blazer…Yep, true story. And yet I keep ploughing through, trying not to take myself too seriously while honouring my creative flow with courage. I am fearful and brave as I dig into the mammoth chore and wonderful journey that intuitive creative expression brings.
