Spiritual Psychotherapy
What clients can expect from me as the therapist:
As a psychotherapist I encourage my clients to
take charge of their sessions and their
healing.
Meeting clients where they are “at”, as a non-judgmental presence,
allows for a trusting relationship to
form.
Shadow work, uncovering your story
and painful childhood wounds, facing addictions, bereavement,
enhancing self-esteem/image, coping with
burn out, depression, divorce/relationship counseling, child
management strategies, shame and stress are just a few of the many
issues that I can effectively help clients through.
I can
use straight talk therapy and/or a variety of techniques to enhance
the healing process. Clients can chose to experience these effective
methods or stick to talk therapy.
I will instinctively challenge clients when they need it, with a
balance of empathetic listening and nurturance.
I sometimes give homework and believe that your one-hour session is
just that, and that how you apply your therapy to the rest of your
life is the most important.
I stress the importance of practicing your new ways of operating,
journaling, paying gratitude, creating affirmations and goal
setting. |
